Location: Utica, NY

Pay Package

  • Estimated Weekly Gross: $2400

Position Overview

NurseAmerica is seeking an experienced Critical Care Registered Nurse for a Float Pool travel assignment in Utica, NY. This role is ideal for adaptable ICU nurses who are comfortable floating across multiple units and managing diverse, high-acuity patient populations.

  • Scrub Color: Navy Blue
     

  • Beds: 42
     

Patient Population & Equipment

  • Common Diagnoses: Stroke, Sepsis, Altered Mental Status, Neuro Interventions (TCAR), Respiratory Failure, CHF, Post-STEMI, Cardiothoracic Surgery, Cardiogenic Shock, AAA Surgery, Trauma, Major Post-Operative Surgical Cases
     

  • Specialty Equipment: IABP, CRRT, Ventriculostomy, ICP Monitoring, Targeted Temperature Management (TTM)
     

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of ICU experience
     

  • Active New York RN License
     

  • BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications required
     

  • Strong ability to float across critical care and medical-surgical units
     

  • Experience with Epic EMR
